Choosing your own colours

how to select your own colours for your design set

To choose your own colours for your design set, hover over 'account' in the top right corner and select 'settings', select 'design lab' from the left hand menu, click the 'colours' dropdown' and select 'choose your own'.

Tip: to find out what section the colour will relate to on your design, hover over the ? icon, this will turn the relevant area purple.

If you have your brand colour codes

If you have hex codes for your brand colours, you can add them straight in to the boxes. If you have RBG or HSL, click the colour circle and switch to the one you need from the bottom up/down arrows, then you can enter the details in the boxes.

If you would like to use the colours from your logo

To use the colours from your logo, first ensure you have your logo correctly uploaded, if you do you will see a preview of your logo at the top of the 'choose your own' section.

Click on the colour circle of the design section you would like to select the colour for then click on the pipette icon. Now you will be able to click on the section of your logo you would like to use the colour from and this will add it in to the design for you.

Tip: this will pre-populate the colour codes for you, so you can make a note of them for future reference.

If you would like to use your brand colours but are not sure of the codes

You can use a colour picker tool to get the colour codes from your website or a document. Just google colour picker and you should find an image colour picker you can use. Once you have the codes you can follow the steps above for 'if you have your brand colours'

If you would like to make up your own brand colours

If you don't have brand colours yet, but would like to choose your own, click on the colour circle and click or slide the colour graph to your desired colour.

Tip - If you have a dark background colour, you'll want to use a light colour for your text so it stands out, and vice versa.
